Dusty Bodeen, LMT

Dusty Bodeen is a Licensed Massage Therapist.  He completed his training at East West College of the Healing Arts and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.  Dusty practices Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Massage and Shiatsu. He emphasizes treatment planning and working with the nervous system to create long-lasting change.

Dusty’s introduction to Massage Therapy started at a young age. Growing up, his father was an avid proponent of bodywork and encouraged Dusty to receive bodywork after high school sports injuries. Dusty’s interest grew further in Massage Therapy after recovering from collarbone surgery and experiencing a full recovery with the help of consistent bodywork.

Many experiences and teachers have shaped Dusty’s eclectic approach to bodywork. He was fortunate to serve as a volunteer clinician with his wife in rural Nepal at the Thrangu Tashi Choeling free Clinic in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. Dusty also traveled to Thailand where he attended the Loi Kroh Traditional Thai Massage School and received a certificate in Traditional Thai Massage.  He has also studied Advanced Myofascial Release with Til Lichau, Certified Advanced Rolfer®.

He looks forward to integrating Acupuncture and Chinese herbs with his passion for bodywork and continues to study, learn and explore new ways to help his clients. In his spare time, Dusty enjoys music, world travel, the outdoors and watching sports of all kinds.

Dusty has experience with chronic pain, headaches, neuropathy, injuries, motor vehicle accidents, workers’ compensation claims, working with children,  TMJ, low-back pain, sciatica, pregnancy massage, frozen shoulder, stress, depression, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.
